Democrats remind me of children who have been using the parents credit card that has overdraft protection by taking from other people’s (CITIZENS) credit cards! “I know limit has been reached but Federal Reserve will just make some more money, cooolll beans!”.
They have been buying up a storm, no matter that the credit limit has been reached and exceed by trillions (how many zeros is that, I dunno) ! Whatever they want for themselves and friends, mind you they could be “good” things… but hello…. there is NO MONEY!!
But now the parents have returned and want to cut up the credit cards and try to payback all the other people the “children” are taking or borrowing money from.
(that would be most of the hardworking citizens in this country + our owners, China and UAE)
Then the children (democrats) tell all their friends to whom they gave OPM (other people’s money) “look at the MEAN parents who don’t want you to have anything, they have all the money and power, and they need to share….. wahhhhhh!”
I even heard a congress person calling the cuts “MEAN” ! WHAATT!! Is that a new budgetary term?
Would they like some CHEESE with that “WHINE”?

I’ve been reviewing the recent budget numbers as a part of the ongoing debate, and I’m very concerned about the current and projected deficits. Given economic realities, the current spending is unsustainable, especially with this level of debt financing (now at 40% of the federal budget, and projected to consume 100% of the GDP within 10 years). Based on the figures below, the growth of federal spending from 2008 to 2010 has increased by 25%. Yet the so-called controversial House budget cuts of $60B in FY11 amounts to less than 2%. No salesman could generate any interest in any commercial product by advertising a 2% sale, yet that constitutes a firestorm within the Beltway, on the newspapers and on TV. I am frankly disgusted with the entire process and participants who continue this fraudulent “debate”, reliving the Roman myth of “Nero fiddling while Rome burns.” I expect better from the political and news class.
