Budget Battle – hmmm… this is why I am no longer a democrat!

Democrats remind me of children who have been using the parents credit card that has overdraft protection by taking from other people’s (CITIZENS) credit cards! “I know limit has been reached but Federal Reserve will just make some more money, cooolll beans!”.

They have been buying up a storm, no matter that the credit limit has been reached and exceed by trillions (how many zeros is that, I dunno) ! Whatever they want for themselves and friends, mind you they could be “good” things… but hello…. there is NO MONEY!!

But now the parents have returned and want to cut up the credit cards and try to payback all the other people the “children” are taking or borrowing money from.
(that would be most of the hardworking citizens in this country + our owners, China and UAE)

Then the children (democrats) tell all their friends to whom they gave OPM (other people’s money) “look at the MEAN parents who don’t want you to have anything, they have all the money and power, and they need to share….. wahhhhhh!”

I even heard a congress person calling the cuts “MEAN” ! WHAATT!! Is that a new budgetary term?

Would they like some CHEESE with that “WHINE”?

Missions in Haiti, what a blessing!

As I have watched the devastation in Haiti I can’t help but be thankful for all the missionaries that have been there all along helping the people establishing relationships and working for clean water, reforestation and sharing the love of Christ. Our little girl through World Vision is still there, no word yet, but I did receive a phone call from World Vision, they said they will call to let us know if she is injured! What a relief. I thank God for our military that run to help no matter the situation and pray they will be safe. A well know person said that Haiti was cursed, well if disobedience to God, self will, sin and doing what is right in our own eyes brings the wrath of God in the form of earthquakes, the US is in BIGGG TROUBLE!! But as we can share, He is a loving and patient God. Have a blessed evening everyone!

Is anyone else outraged that we are giving millions of dollars to ACORN community organizers and they are under investigation in several states for voter fraud and NOW caught in the act helping someone to use tax payer dollars to help a client purchase a brothel. It was a sting with hidden cameras OMG! To make it even worse, they didn’t blink an eye when told underage girls (children) not cititizens were being brought in the house to turn tricks!
Now more of these stings in different cities are coming out. We are funding this as taxpayers. This is bad on so many levels. If this bothers you write and email or call the Inspector General of HUD and ask for an investigation. I know as a follower of Christ I do not want MY tax dollars paying for this!!! http://www.hud.gov/offices/oig/

ACLU is at it again. It is amazing what they stand against now. They have filed CRIMINAL, not civil penalties against a coach that was asked to bless the food before a luncheon at a school at an event that no children were attending! They called blessing the food “Christian Education”! Criminal charges for blessing the food!!??? They could spend 6 months in jail and have a criminal record! Religious freedom and speech in the U.S. is in serious jeoporady. We cannot remain in denial. Religious persecution against Christians is in the Word, so it should be no surprise. The more important question is will I and will you still stand for Christ. As persecution increases, it will reveal the depth of our faith and spiritual condtion and it will refine us like gold. I have heard it said, persecution of Christians will seperate the “saints” from the “ain’ts”! let’s get to work on our knees, sharing our story of the saving grace and transforming power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Oh What a Beautiful Day!

Somehow looking out over the Gulf of Mexico, from the most beautiful American island, Sanibel, FL it is a huge reminder of the Creator who loves us so much. I feel the grace of our Lord being able to be here, look out at the blue turqouise water and white sand and lush green vegetation with the love of my life, my husband of 18 years and our 2 great danes. While business as ususal goes on “inside the beltway”, it is nice to take some time to refresh and renew! Oh, what a beautiful day!

I just witnessed on the news the first triad that wants to get “married”! “It’s all about freedom of choice and equality, that is wonderful!” Whaaaattt!! Lord help me to stand for You with love but without wavering, to be salt and light, because as a very wise man said… “it’s getting late in the evening and the son is about to go down, time to stop playing church”. Help me to live a life that is a positive witness for the power and love of Christ to deliver us all from our own natural penchant to do what is right in our own eyes! If we don’t stand for what is truth, what is the next thing comin’?? No need to think to hard….
